It’s an important day for Omnic as we celebrate the 2nd birthday of our European head office in the capital of Latvia, located in Riga, Maza Nomentu 31. More than 150 employees work in R&D, product management, software engineering, marketing, design, and business development teams and see no limits to their creativity and enthusiasm.

Even though it has been only two years since the office opening, we are proud to share many achievements:

• Our R&D team has finished the update of Omnic products for entering the MENA market. Our VolumeBox has become capable of addressing the needs of B2B companies.
• Products OmniPost Ultra Solar powered with solar panels went into mass production.  
• Our team adopted a variety of sustainable practices and switched our Omnic Factory in Georgia to solar energy.

Ann Snitko, Omnic’s CPO, shared her impressions from these two years: “I am happy to admit that for these two years we’ve found partners in more than 10 countries. I am proud of everyone in the team who acted with enough resourcefulness and determination to expand Omnic on new markets and adjust to the new conditions”.

Even though these two years were full of challenges and great achievements, it’s just the beginning. The entire Riga team is inspired to approach new prospects in business and innovation, so we have one more announcement to make: the Omnic team is planning to open manufacturing in Latvia to develop the local market!

With this great news in mind, we are ready to elevate our company to new heights with even greater efficiency and commitment to the creation of automation and self-service solutions.

Omnic has been developing self-service and automation solutions, including parcel lockers, since 2012. The company has 45 patents in Europe and USA, developed the product with the 10-year useful-life period with an ownership cost of 5% and 99.2% of hardware and software SLA, and installed 22,500+ parcel locker modules. On top of that, Omnic has held a charity event and set the Guinness world record: installed the biggest fully automated parcel locker consisting of 1,182 cells.
