Parcel+Post Expo: The Powerful Event Of October 2019

We have a lot of great and powerful technological events this year. And Parcel+Post Expo, the world’s largest annual exhibition, is one of them. The event gathered more than 3,000 specialists from 100+ countries in the city of Amsterdam, the Netherlands from September 30 to October 1, 2, 3, 2019. The postal operators, couriers, e-fulfillment companies, cross-border shippers, and delivery companies had a perfect opportunity to discuss the current issues and form business relationships on a global scale. This year, 200+ international exhibitors spoke at the event and gave an excellent opportunity to get a first-hand look at the latest innovations and technologies driving this industry forward. Omnic team has joined the event to share the atmosphere and energy of innovation with all the participants and guests.

 

Jump Into Innovation Atmosphere

Since digital disruption is actual for most industries today, Parcel+Post Expo was divided into some streams: advances in free delivery, logistics, robotics, automation, and AI. And also, the increasing challenges of logistics in urban areas, including innovations and options in the last mile, driven in large part by expansions in e-commerce.

The Omnic R&D Team complemented the main idea of the exhibition and highlighted the importance of transformation for the last-mile solutions. Recognition of the product Omnic develops was reflected in nomination for the Final Mile Innovation of the Year.

 

Ann Snitko, Omnic Business Development Executive, explained the role of blockchain in last mile delivery solutions. Customers expect a certain level of service and are not ready to pay lots of  money for the last-mile delivery. Ann explained how blockchain, shared economy, and Omnic open parcel locker network can solve this issue. 

 

 

Omnic Experience At Parcel+Post Expo 

Omnic  team was proud to join this important event. We had a booth where we demonstrated a new generation of the vending solution and WiFi locks - a new development of the Omnic R&D team. It was an extraordinary experience for our company since we received the Guinness world record for this technology and wanted to share this experience at Post-Expo 2019. The technology was developed with the support of Berkeley University for Robotics and the provision of last-mile technology in retail, logistics, and e-commerce.

 

 

Participants of the exhibition received an opportunity to be the first ones to test WiFi locks, which work without cables and are easy to manage from the web admin panel. The new technology will facilitate the installation process and will allow making parcel locker support more efficient.

 

Such automated lockers technology is growing step by step around the world with the IoT and automation trends, becoming an essential component of the logistics behind internet purchases.

Omnic presents OmniHub at NRF 2020: the world’s largest retail sector expo

NRF is the largest retail sector conference and expo. NRF 2020 was bigger and busier than ever, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, between January 12 - 14, 2020.

At the heart of NRF Retail Week is NRF 2020: Retail’s Big Show. During this busy week, as many industry leaders, vendors, innovators, financiers, and others from the world of retail gather in NYC to network, learn, exchange ideas, do deals, and showcase new products and services.

It was our chance to unveil OmniHub to the U.S. market and retailers from around the world who had traveled to attend. We were delighted and proud to send a team to exhibit our automated self-serve solution, the OmniHub.

Over 40,000 professionals get involved and visit, including 18,000 retailers, 800 exhibitors, 400 speakers, and attendees from 99 countries. High-profile speakers included the CEOs of Microsoft, Best Buy, Starbucks, Nordstrom, Kohl’s, and numerous others from across the retail sector.

Positive feedback for the OmniHub from NRF 2020
It was an exciting opportunity for us to take several examples of the OmniHub, showcasing what it can do for food retailers and service industry companies (e.g. laundry). We also had a video set-up, to further showcase the product, and the team brought more information for interested parties.

Alongside answering questions from potentially interested parties and leads, our team collected thoughtful insights and outstanding feedback from leading players in the retail sector.

It was a promising and positive expo, and one that could drive forward future growth and expansion into new markets. It also served as a chance to raise the profile of OmniHub, which is something we will be doing throughout 2020.

Omnic at the consumer electronics trade show in Las Vegas

The technology was developed with the support of Berkeley University for robotics and last-mile technology in retail, logistics and e-commerce. People should spend time on what’s really important, and the technology will take care of the rest.The device is aimed at increasing the profitability of corporations, small and medium-sized businesses.
 
There are no boundaries for automation and the all-in-one Brandshub confirms this. The modular design facilitates easy customization and adaptability. With the help of Brandshub, you can really do everything: send and receive a parcel, hand things dry-cleaned, buy equipment or snacks in a vending machine. A wide temperature range (-18°C / + 60°C) makes it possible to order products from a supermarket or restaurant.
 
In addition to Brandshub, Omnic introduced Pullman - robot for pharmacies, the automated restaurant Cuber Bruger and the new generation vending device - Cube Food.

World's Largest Automated Lockers Record Was Setup by Omnic

San Francisco, Feb. 5, 2019 The Guinness committee announced on January 11th "the most electronic locking parcel lockers in one single venue is 1,182, granting the creators of the project with the "Officially Amazing" Guinness World Record certificate.
 
It took 115 professionals and 87,000 work-hours to develop the electronic system which enabled the installation of the biggest parcel of automated lockers in the world. The station had 1,182 automated cells, 5 management units, and was setted up at the National Expo Center in Kiev.
 
At the station, more than 1,400 children received free Christmas gifts from 1,182 automated lockers, and over 1,000 visitors used the locker's "click and collect" technology to buy and deliver their own gifts between December 22nd, 2018 and January 14th of this year.
 
The largest number of locking parcel lockers station was developed by Omnic, an international tech group based in San Francisco, together with the support of the Kiev-based business accelerator Omni Campus.
 
"Our aim with the project was to introduce children to new technologies and showcase our novel state-of-the-art automated process of receiving goods, which together with the Guinness record break, has proved to be a great success," said Ann Snitko, Omnic Regional Director.
 
The evidence for the Guinness record commission was provided by the international auditing companies Baker Tilly and PSP Audit, who attested the complete autonomous operation of the lockers with a fault level of no less than 00,32%.
 
Automated lockers technology is growing rapidly across the globe under the IoT and automation trends, becoming an essential component of the logistics behind internet purchases.
 
"Omnic attempts to be at the forefront of automated lockers technology. We have invested $3.45M in R&D and developed the technology with the support of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Satarja," explained Snitko.

EuroShop exhibition in Dusseldorf

The Retail Innovations Awards 2017 were awarded at the RetailShow exhibition in Poland. Omnic was awarded the Innovation in Retail Award for the Fresh-Box innovation.
 
The team has been working on this product since 2014. Therefore, the award is especially valuable, as it is recognized by both experts and consumers.
 
Fresh-Box is an automated parcel locker with cells that support freezing and cooling regimes. It is intended for the delivery of food, ready meals, cosmetics, medicines - products that require special storage conditions.

n March 2017, Omnic took part in the large-scale EuroShop exhibition in Dusseldorf, which is dedicated to equipment, infrastructure and technologies for advertising, marketing and retail. The exhibition has been held for more than 50 years and gathers the best experts in the field of trade. Therefore, each exhibitor brings a new generation of products that will set the pace of development for modern retail. OMNIC presented the latest developments in Germany: a smart refrigerator with RFID technology, an automated post office for issuing and receiving parcels, a module with cells that support cooling and freezing. The company's stand impressed guests with a combination of innovative technologies and hospitality. Visitors were invited to pick up snacks directly from the post offices and discuss automation trends and product benefits in the lounge area. Major European publications, ESM, IXTENSO, LSA, Lebensmittel Zeitung, also joined in innovation by testing OMNIC products among the first.

Omnic together with its strategic partner Modern-Expo decided to join Kiev Smart City Forum

On the 31st of October over 1200 people visited Kiev Smart City Forum. Among the visitors were representatives of local authorities, embassies,
international organizations, vendors, experts, activists, and simply the ones who want to transform the city via innovation and technologies.
 
 
During the conference, which was included into the exhibition program, top experts discussed the value of smart city development and benefits
that it provides to its residents. Having the same idea in mind, Omnic developed all-in-one self-service point, Brandshub, to make the life of the
residents easier and for the businesses to provide real last mile experience for their end-customers.

OMNIC together with Modern-Expo joined the event for the second time with brand new solutions.
 
This year Post-Expo (9-11 October, Hamburg, Germany) was visited by more than 3000 people from over 100 countries. 
The event gathered postal operators, couriers, delivery companies to debate current issues and set business relationships. 
The conferences which were included into exhibition program provided the excellent opportunity to discuss the latest innovations and
technologies driving postal industry forward. Chief Operating Officer of Ukrposhta, Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, delivered an interesting topic
“E-commerce exports by microentrepreneurs: unlocking new growth potential”.
